This site is a personal portfolio, blog, and contact surface. There is no account system, payments, or membership. Still, limited technical data may be created when you visit — we describe that below.

We keep collection to a minimum, only what is needed to run and improve the site:

• Language preference (e.g. English / Turkish) — via a cookie or similar storage
• Cookie consent choice — may be stored locally in your browser
• Technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and pages visited (hosting/security operations)
• Contact details you send — only if you email us or use the meeting scheduler, limited to that conversation

Personal data may be processed for the following purposes under KVKK Art. 5:

• Delivering the site and remembering language preference — legitimate interest / technical necessity
• Security, abuse prevention, and service continuity — legitimate interest
• Responding to your requests (email, meeting) — performance of a request or steps prior to a contract
• Complying with legal obligations — where the law expressly requires it

We may use essential/functional cookies. In particular, a limited cookie (or equivalent storage) may remember your language preference. We do not intentionally run third-party advertising or analytics trackers; if that changes, this page will be updated and consent will be requested where required.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect features such as language preference.

We may work with trusted providers to host the site, serve content, and (if you choose) schedule meetings. They process data only as needed to provide their service:

• Hosting / CDN providers — availability and security
• Content infrastructure (e.g. Supabase) — publishing blog posts
• Meeting scheduler (Omnistacks) — if you book a meeting, that platform’s own privacy policy also applies
• Email infrastructure — to deliver messages you send us

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose and any legal retention duties. Language/cookie preferences stay under your browser’s control. Contact records may be kept until your request is resolved and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted or anonymized.

Under KVKK Art. 11 you may request to learn whether your data is processed; request information if it is; learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; know third parties to whom it is transferred; request correction of incomplete/incorrect data; request deletion/destruction; request notification of such actions to third parties; object to results arising solely from automated systems against you; and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No internet transmission is perfectly secure; we use HTTPS and trusted infrastructure.

This site is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes refresh the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use means you have had the chance to read the current version; we may provide additional notice for significant changes.
